It looks north to the morning sun, over an extensive harbour, where one can see fish jumping, fishermen, yachts, paddle boarders, kayakers and occasionally Maori waka (canoes), out practicing. It is ideally set up for one to two guests, and particularly singles looking for peace and tranquility.The double bedroom opens on to its own private deck which overlooks a zen garden, part of the bigger garden that surrounds the whole house... incorporating three ponds, sea views, native birds, and ample parking. A spa is available for your enjoyment. If the moon is not full, you can reach up and almost touch the stars they seem so close. Ample towels, a shower, bathtub and plenty of room for your toiletries; Simply a great place to unwind and de-stress, cared for by your cheerful hostess. Is less than two hours south of Auckland, less than an hour west of Hamilton and five minutes to Raglan. Offers meals and Raglan tours on request. Offers English language tuition by a very experienced and well qualified teacher. Has a very sociable dog (snoodle) and a very shy cat in permanent residence.Offers great opportunities for photographers, some of New Zealand's top surfing beaches and daily beginner surfing lessons; Orca whales and the endangered maui dolphin; Kayaking, paddle boarding surfcasting and marlin fishing.
